WHO IS THE TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR?
As we age, we all start to lose volume in certain areas of the face which can make us look increasingly tired, coupled with the appearance of sunken eyes. This is due to a natural decrease in our bodies ability to produce collagen and elastin.
Unlike wrinkles which require muscle relaxants to soften them. The presence of facial folds and lost volume requires administration of dermal fillers to help hydrate and restore volume to these problematic areas and is safe for all to undergo treatment, subject to an initial consultation.
The injection of dermal filler helps to eradicate minor or small skin imperfections, such as unsightly wrinkles. Visually restoring a much smoother complexion.
THE TREATMENT
WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE?
Injectable filler is a hyaluronic acid-based product, which is injected deep within your soft skin tissues at various depths. This helps to add and restore lost facial volume. Providing enhanced definition in targeted areas such as cheeks, jaw and lips.

Treatment and administration of all dermal filler products are undertaken by our Medically Trained Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner 'Sarah Warmington'.
A small entry hole at the injection site is made using a needle to allow insertion of a cannula. A cannula is a blunt-tipped, hollow tube which acts as an alternative to a needle, allowing the filler to be accurately placed, being minimally invasive and one of the safest techniques. Typically, treatment takes approximately 35 minutes.

Hyaluronic acid is made from natural sugars already present within our bodies. It is one of the key constituent compounds responsible for water retention, plumping our skin to give us that hydrated look and glow we desire.

Please be aware that there may be minor discomfort or pain during the administration of dermal fillers, however, the discomfort varies from person to person and depends on the condition of one’s skin, the product being used, and the area(s) being treated.
Some of the dermal filler products contain an aesthetic, which has been shown to increase patient comfort. Following treatment, you should be able to resume normal activities.​
THE RESULTS
How quickly will I see the results?
Results are immediate and will even allow you to resume your normal day-to-day activities immediately following the procedure. Like all aesthetics treatments, filler is unfortunately not permanent and eventually is absorbed by the body. That’s why here at SAREAN AESTHETICS™ we recommend top-up treatments at 12-month intervals.
